Charles

Mr. Constantinou has 40+ years of energy investment research experience and ability in the energy sector and is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science. 

After 34 years of service with the United Nations (1961-1995), Charles retired as Chief of the Energy Program and Natural Resources at United Nations HQ in New York, where he authored countless reports for the UN Economic & Social Council, the General Assembly and various Energy Committees as well as publications such as the annual World Economic Survey. Most recently, Charles has concentrated on advising investors on opportunistic industry developments and near-term catalysts.

Mr. Constantinou has held many international seminars and symposia on world oil and natural gas demand & supply, petroleum refineries, exploration & development policies and relations between oil importing and exporting countries, including electric power, coal, new and renewable sources of energy and non-conventional sources, such as oil shales, tar sands and heavy oils.

Charles offers his expertise to Shale Intelligence, LLC clients & web members by providing investors and enthusiasts alike by utilizing his knowledge and perspective to forecast through the dynamic, complex, and rich depth of the O&G sector. Shale Intelligence, LLC subscribers receive a weekly newsletter and a monthly equity update report.

Up to date & In-depth research on the major players in the oil and natural gas industry, including XOM, LNG, COG, CQP, RRC, PXD, RDS.A, EOG, CLK, NBL,  and APC to name a few. Charles closely monitors developments of shale oil and gas in the USA and Europe.

Consultant to the United Nations preparing reports on the prospects of oil discovery and advises the Government of Cyprus on oil and gas exploration.

Charles is a Council Member and featured energy investment consultant to the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG).
